Anthropocene: A proposed epoch dating from the commencement of significant human impact on Earth’s geology and ecosystems; with the loss of biodiversity, and geological manipulation as some of the key issues.

Unconsidered effected of human behaviors have led to a global concern about sustaining world ecosystems necessary for human existence to continue. The biological contamination of animals and people from catastrophic events such as the fallout of nuclear meltdowns, explosions, and leaks are currently threatening the health and posterity of all living creatures’ decades afterwards. With mutations such as additional appendages, a lack of appendages, affected reproductivity, and loss of functions necessary to survive, these creatures’ afflictions serve as one of many confirmations of our geological transcendence into the Anthropocene.
