Part Two: The Biggest Hurt is Knowing
The Biggest Hurt is Knowing, is the burden of understanding all that may oppose oneself. The magnitude and weight of such knowledge can be overwhelming, and make one feel insignificant and unable to escape such fear. However, these obstacles may appear larger than they really are, and if confronted, may turn out to be less scary and unworthy of the stress one will put themselves through to avoid it. Our fears are often reflections of ourselves, and so the bird is made out of the same materials as the threat. Confronting the potential damage within ourselves can make the exterior forces less daunting, but does not minimize the pain that was experiences before finding the courage to overcome them.
